Snowstorm on track for tonight into Tuesday. More snow to end the week?

Updated: Feb 27, 2023

All of CT will finally see their first plowable and significant snow this season.

Timeline:

Start- first flakes will start after 8pm from SW to NE.

Accumulating snow - The snow will start to stick to the roads after 10pm from SW to NE.

Peak - The heaviest snow will fall between 11pm and 5am across CT.

End time - Periods of snow will linger through early Tuesday afternoon. However most of the heavy accumulations will be done by mid-morning Tuesday.

Storm total accumulations - a widespread 4-8" of snow will fall throughout the state with locally higher amounts of 9-10" in any heavier banding that sets up (western ct has the best shot at the heavier banding).

We have another winter storm to track for Friday, at this point it looks like snow to ice and rain across CT with the best potential for snow in NW CT.
